O Coro
de Câmara PRAVOSLAVA foi fundado em Lisboa
no ano 2001 por um grupo de músicos ortodoxos de várias tradições, com a intenção de mostrar a diversidade e a riqueza da música da
Igreja Ortodoxa nas suas diversas
manifestações culturais.
The PRAVOSLAVA chamber choir
was founded in Lisbon in 2001 by a group of Orthodox
musicians from various traditions, with the intention of demonstrating the
diversity and richness of the music of the Orthodox Church in its various
cultural manifestations.

O próximo
concerto do coro será no dia 13 de Novembro 2001 pelas 18.30 no Palácio Foz em Lisboa.
Cantar-se-ão obras de Nikolsky,
Tchesnokov, Christov, Balakirev e Rimsky-Korsakov e ainda
cânticos das tradições búlgara, russa e bizantina. O
concerto realiza-se com o apoio
da Juventude Musical Portuguesa.
The choir's next concert
will be on 13th November 2001 at 6.30pm at the Palácio
Foz in Lisbon. The concert will feature
music by Nikolsky, Chesnokov,
Christov, Balakirev and
Rimsky-Korsakov, as well as chants from the Bulgarian, Russian and Byzantine
traditions. This concert takes place with the support of the Juventude Musical Portuguesa.
